Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY

Supports management in the operation maintenance repair and upkeep of venue infrastructure building systems and physical plant assets at Universal Horror Unleashed. Provides work direction to Venue Maintenance/Facilities and Aramark Team Members to support daily maintenance activities preventive maintenance repairs new installations strikes and special event needs. Reinforces company and venue-specific policies safety procedures OSHA standards and applicable regulatory requirements. Maintains working knowledge of facilities maintenance disciplines and building systems while addressing operational concerns and escalating critical issues to Technical & Show leadership as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans assigns and directs daily facilities related tasks for Venue Maintenance/Facilities and Aramark Team Members. Communicates performance expectations provides feedback for recognition and performance improvement and supports proper completion of assigned work. Completes required reporting and task management through Maximo and other applicable systems to support communication between shifts Technical Management and Technical Coordinators.
  • Reinforces company safety guidelines OSHA standards applicable state regulations and UHU operating procedures. Leads venue maintenance work startup and stoppage processes and monitors Team Member productivity safety and cross-departmental coordination. Oversees the care condition use storage and inventory of tools equipment facility materials and related supplies.
  • Ensures proper completion of work orders and documentation within Maximo. Troubleshoots facilities-related issues and supports approved venue infrastructure repairs preventive maintenance tasks facilities improvements seasonal offerings and special event needs in accordance with the approved scope of work. Documents Team Member observations using the Lead Observation Report.
  • Communicates and coordinates facilities system status maintenance schedules resource needs work plans and operational concerns with Technical & Show leadership other UHU departments Aramark partners and affected Team Members. Serves as a primary point of contact between the facilities team and appropriate leadership.
  • Supports on-the-job training for new Team Members and provides refresher training to existing Team Members. Training areas may include venue systems tool safety preventive maintenance procedures OSHA standards and venue-specific safety requirements. Completes required training documentation and assists with assigning training shifts as needed.
  • Maintains working knowledge of building systems general construction trades plumbing electrical distribution HVAC fundamentals and facilities maintenance best practices applicable to a themed entertainment venue. Performs Technician-level duties as operationally necessary completes company-required training and maintains any required licenses or renewals.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:Toperform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities (KSAs)required.

  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance building operations or general construction trades within a commercial industrial entertainment or hospitality environment.
  • Working knowledge of general carpentry plumbing basic electrical systems HVAC and building infrastructure maintenance.
  • Must be able to obtain a work card upon employment.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders maintenance schedules and basic construction or facilities drawings.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while providing work direction to Team Members and vendor partners.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to coordinate with leadership Team Members vendor partners and other departments.

CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

  • Local and state required licenses including OSHA 10.
  • Forklift Operator certification preferred.
  • Aerial Work Platform/Scissor Lift operator certification preferred.
  • Applicable state trade license such as electrical or plumbing preferred.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED is required; Associate degree or technical degree in Facilities Management Building Trades or a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or building operations is required including at least 1 year of experience providing work direction to others; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a commercial venue themed entertainment hospitality or similar operating environment is preferred.
