Job Summary
Nakupuna Companies is seeking a Lead Technician to support the Pacific Enterprise ServicesHawaii (PES-HI) Decommissioning and DLA Disposition Services effort. The Technician directly provides decommissioning support documentation and DLA Disposition Services turn-in activities while ensuring compliance with DoD DISA safety and quality requirements.
The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
- Conduct site assessments and inventory validation.
- Safely deinstall package palletize and stage IT equipment.
- Support media sanitization and documentation.
- Prepare DD Form 1348-1A and inventory records.
- Coordinate site access transportation and DLA turn-in.
- Support quality inspections and compliance.
- Provide scheduling and administrative support to Logistician
- Facilitate QA team review.
- Coordinate with Voice Engineer for proper procedures to decommission.
Skills/Qualifications: Experience with DoD IT hardware logistics inventory management Microsoft Office DD Form 1348-1A processing Microsoft Excel and teamwork.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of relevant experience. Additional directly related experience may substitute for education.
Certification: Security and OSHA 10 preferred.
Clearance Requirements: Active Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Work Location: DISA Pacific Pearl Harbor HI with travel throughout Oahu to Government facilities DLA Disposition Services locations and contractor staging areas.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand bend climb ladders.
- Perform repetitive hand motions.
- Communicate effectively.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands wrists and fingers.
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors including but not limited to the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability organizational requirements and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $75000 to $80000 annually. The range displayed represents the typical range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
