Lead Revenue Audit Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY

The incumbent is responsible for the daily audit of Cage VLT Racing Non-gaming revenue areas.  The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring work performed by Revenue Auditors to ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Assists and monitors the daily audit of Cage VLTs Racing Soft count and Non-gaming audits.

1. Investigates and reports discrepancies determined through audit processes to property Finance leadership.

1. Prepares information and reports in a manner to ensure compliance with gaming commission rules and Company policies and procedures.

1. Maintains accurate records and files pertaining to daily audits of areas of responsibility.

1. Anticipates ongoing changes problems and opportunities in order to maintain effective systems and procedures.

1. Assists in the preparation of the daily and monthly Racino statistics.

1. Provides assistance to Revenue Auditors and reviews completed audits for accuracy.

1. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses Certifications Testing etc.):

Ability to maintain all Regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment

Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal State and Gaming regulations.

Must successfully pass background check

Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITY:

Knowledge of:

• Knowledge of audit functions.
• Effective written and oral communication skills necessary.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Advanced with Microsoft Excel Outlook and 10-key calculator.

Ability to:

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees as well as outside contacts.
• Must be able to speak read write and understand English.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
• Must be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
• Ability to sit and perform data entry for extended period of times.
• This position operates in a work environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds noise and smoke the severity of which depends upon customer volume
