Description

The Enterprise Data & Insights - Lead Product Manager role is responsible for leading the development and launch of data products for all Corporate functions (HR Finance EHS etc) from conceptualization through to end of life using waterfall or agile methodologies.

The incumbent acts as a key liaison to their assigned product line(s) to ensure the Corporate functions are upskilled on and effectively leveraging the ED&I organizations data tools and technology. The incumbent is anexperienced professional with extensive knowledge and experience in product management and information technologyprinciples practices and addition to defining product requirements and continuously refining theproduct strategy the incumbent collaborates closely with key stakeholders across the organizationincluding business teams technology product owners and technical teams to drive thedevelopment implementation and enhancement of new data products with afocus onoptimizingproduct performance and customer incumbent will gain an understanding of the goals and objectives held by the Corporate functions to provide insights and recommendations for their data product and service offerings. The incumbenttakes responsibility for the execution of various technology product development projects including planning schedulingexecuting and closing projects. They take responsibility for ensuring adherence to product timelines budgetsquality standards and customer needs. The incumbentis a keycontributor to a culture ofcollaboration and contributes actively tothe development and execution of the organizations overall strategy and vision working closely with senior andexecutive leadership to achieve the organizations strategicobjectives.



Responsibilities
  • Partners with senior leaders to develop and execute product strategy including product roadmaps priorities pricing budgeting positioning andmessaging.
  • Develop strategies to define product requirements in partnership with the business and work with cross-functional teams (engineeringdesign etc.) to ensure product vision is well understood and executed.
  • Establish and share perspective to conduct market research and analysis on Corporate functions related data and products to identify customer needs market trends and competitive threats.
  • Drive strategies to define track and report on product metrics to measure success and prepare new strategy as needed.
  • Develop strategies to shape and prioritize the product backlog and determine business expertise and understanding of customer needs.
  • Plan and lead the product development process from concept to launch and guide the team to ensure products are delivered on time on budget and meet quality standards.
  • Develop strategies to manage knowledge documentation in support of the product and provide guidance as needed.
  • Lead and communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders and executive leadership including technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Establish and share strategies to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide guidance to the team as needed.
  • Plan and lead product performance and customer feedback and guide to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous product innovation.

This is not a remote position and will report to our headquarters in Cleveland OH.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or Business Administration or in lieu of a degree or at least 9 years of experience in the field of technology product management
  • 6 years of experience in technology product management with experience in launching and managing successful products
  • Extensive knowledge of product development and launch processes including agile methodologies
  • Extensive knowledge of production innovation methodologies and leading practices
  • Ability to conduct advanced market research and analyze customer needs market trends and competitive landscape
  • Proven experience with hardware or software product development
  • Extensive knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and customer-centric design thinking
  • Expertise in business processes including IT vendor management and software development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business language
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.

Preferred

  • Related certifications (e.g. PMI Certification Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified Product Manager)
  • Supervisory or Team lead experience
  • Data Strategy & Innovation
  • Proven experience in analyzing data and developing insights to support business decision-making.
  • Data Visualization Tools (e.g. Tableau BO MicroStrategy)
  • Data Analysis Tools (e.g. Python SQL R Excel)
