Pay: $21$26 per hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
- Lead a preschool classroom using The Learning Experiences proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Plan and implement engaging developmentally appropriate activities that support kindergarten readiness
- Foster childrens literacy math science creativity and social-emotional development through hands-on learning
- Create a safe organized and welcoming classroom where children can thrive
- Supervise and mentor Assistant Teachers while promoting teamwork and classroom consistency
- Observe childrens developmental progress and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain compliance with all New York State and New York City licensing regulations and health and safety standards
- Collaborate with center leadership to uphold the highest standards of educational excellence
- Bachelors Degree Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education CDA or High School Diploma with at least five years of relevant early childhood experience
- Previous experience leading a preschool classroom preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent leadership classroom management and communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet all applicable New York State and New York City childcare licensing requirements
