Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development redesign and modernization of legacy reporting into new Power BI solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership mentoring and guidance to a team of 4 Power BI developers.
  • Work closely with business partners data engineers and ETL developers to ensure accurate data sourcing from BigQuery data marts.
  • Develop visually effective accessible and standardized reports aligned with agency reporting and accessibility requirements.
  • Ensure all Power BI assets follow established governance security and documentation standards.
  • Perform testing and validation to ensure accuracy reliability and consistency across all reporting products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements verify data elements and support enterprise reporting needs.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation report specifications and support materials.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of handson experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards in an enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with ETL and Reporting/BI tools.
  • Proven ability to serve as a Technical Lead for a team of 4 or more developers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively address both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of data models data visualization best practices and enterprise reporting standards.
