Lead Pharmacy Technician-Prepacking

NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Lead Pharmacy Technician- Prepacking to join our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham Al.

The Lead Pharmacy Technician-Prepacking shall be responsible for the following in addition to normal Prepack Technician Duties:

Being the primary point of contact/liaison for pre-pack questions or concerns from other areas

Preparing the daily duty schedule for other pre-pack technicians

Managing the repacking process

Training of other technicians on equipment and processes

Keeping the shelves stocked

Moving bulk product from the warehouse to the pre-pack staging area for pre-packing

Helping to track production for the repacking process

Managing technicians to stay focused between job assignments

Keeping the packing area clean and orderly

Making sure pre-pack areas are scanned monthly for date product/cards

Position Requirements:

Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting or related field such as wholesale drug or medical supply distribution.

Active registration as a technician with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy.

PTCB certification is a plus.
