About You

In one of our manufacturing roles youll focus on winning with consumers and the market while putting safety mutual respect and human dignity at the center. Job responsibilities include:

  • Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with EHS standards regulations and plant guidelines.
  • Lead capital and engineering projects up to $5M from concept through commercialization.
  • Design develop and optimize tissue converting equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Apply engineering and project management principles to improve operational performance and reliability.
  • Identify troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using root-cause analysis.
  • Partner with operations maintenance reliability teams and external vendors to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop innovative solutions that enhance safety quality productivity and process efficiency.
  • Provide occasional on-call technical support as needed.

To succeed in this role you will need the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution required.
  • 3 years of technical and/or operational experience; recent graduates with relevant internship co-op or industry experience will also be considered.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing systems machine safety mechanical design automation controls project execution asset management technical documentation and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently or to lead a team to complete projects within required timeframes.
  • Collaborative work style with the ability to improve teamwork and drive
    results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and background in Manufacturing/production including a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process
  • 5 years of experience in a variety of plant and staff assignments.
  • Experience working with external technical service suppliers.
  • Process Technologies: Merging Tissue-making Applications contributing to
    Converting Processes.
  • Winding and Web Handling experience.
  • OEM Equipment Design.

Salary Range:USD

At Kimberly-Clark pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve thrive and grow. Along with base pay this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as location role skills performance and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
