Lead Mammographer Technologist

A Mammography Technologist is a healthcare professional who performs breast imaging procedures ensures high-quality diagnostic images and provides patient care throughout the mammography process.

Responsibilities

Mammography skills

• Perform advanced mammography procedures with a high level of accuracy and clinical expertise.

• Assist in Stereotactic Breast and ensure proper processing of specimens and lab documentation.

Assist in Stereotactic localization procedures

• Evaluate patient conditions and determine appropriate imaging approaches using critical thinking.

• Review imaging orders perform exams and ensure adherence to IHS quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards including patient identification and procedural time-outs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences required.

• Current ARRT CRT and CPR certifications are required.

• Advanced mammography training.

• Ability to train mentor and support team members.

• Strong critical thinking problem-solving and communication skills.

• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional excellence.
