Join Unity Lab Services at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Lead Inventory Coordinator where youll coordinate daily workflow and contribute to excellence in laboratory service and support. Youll manage a team responsible for inventory operations from stockroom and dock management to chemical tracking and material handling. As the site subject-matter expert youll collaborate between customers and Thermo Fisher Scientific identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings. Your oversight will be essential in maintaining inventory accuracy implementing SOPs and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. REQUIREMENTS:
4 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations
Experience working in GxP environment required
Demonstrated team management abilities
Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite
IATA/DOT Hazardous Goods certification required or ability to obtain within 3-6 months
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented environment
Forklift certification preferred
Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to work in various environments including cold storage and chemical areas
Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety protocols
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Valid drivers license required
Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation
Knowledge of cGMP standards and quality control procedures
