Full-Time Start Date: August 24

Discovery Kidzone is seeking a Full-Time Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position is scheduled to begin August 24.

We are looking for an experienced early childhood educator who is passionate about supporting infants during their earliest stages of development. If you have experience working with young children and are ready to grow into a leadership role wed love to hear from you. We are happy to provide coaching and training to help the right candidate become a successful Lead Teacher.

Our centers operate Monday through Friday offering a consistent schedule with no evenings or weekends allowing for an excellent work-life balance.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom routines for infants and young toddlers
• Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and learning experiences
• Foster a safe nurturing and engaging classroom environment
• Support childrens cognitive social emotional and physical development
• Observe and document childrens progress
• Maintain regular communication with families regarding childrens development and daily activities
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies
• Guide and support classroom team members while promoting a collaborative environment
• Organize classroom materials and maintain a clean safe learning space
• Work closely with center leadership to ensure high-quality classroom operations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare or early learning setting
• Previous experience working with infants or toddlers preferred
• Leadership experience is helpful but not requiredwe provide training and mentorship
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent coursework is preferred
• Strong communication organization and teamwork skills
• Patient dependable and professional approach to working with children and families
• CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to complete all required state licensing and background check requirements
