The Lead F&II Finance Analyst is primarily responsible for capital yield supplies and packaging adjustments and reporting inventory analysis reconciliations yield reporting monthly close preparation and required reporting along with forecasting and other ad hoc tasks. DTP creation/review overseeing audit requirements and delivery and striving for improvements in processes are also key tasks of this role. Lead will help guide review and suggest improvements in tasks for Accountant. Focus is on accuracy timeliness and ownership of tasks. This person will report to our Accounting Manager - F&II US/CAN and will have 1 direct report.

What you will do:

  • Develop Accountant oversee one Accountant helping review guide and improve upon tasks.
  • Supplies/Packaging Adjustment/Analysis and Reporting In charge of preparing analyzing and adjusting supplies and packaging inventory/consumption to help operations and finance groups to understand and accurately assess usages.
  • Resin Preparation Prepare key entries for inventory/consumption analysis and reporting for key supply used in sweetener manufacturing.
  • Account Reconciliations Prepare monthly account reconciliations in a timely manner to ensure internal control policies are being followed.
  • Yield Preparation Prepare yield/accounting each month analyzing data for reasonability.
  • Maintenance adjustments Prepare analysis entries and reporting to correctly reflect expected maintenance monthly for select plants.
  • Monthly Variance Reporting Prepare monthly analysis reports comparing actuals vs forecast for production manufacturing expenses. Key drivers of variances communicated clearly and concisely to assist operations and finance in understanding of impacts.
  • Forecasting/Budgeting Work cross-functionally across plants to prepare monthly forecasts and periodic budgets (fixed and variable costs).
  • Inventory management Assist in physical inventory counts/reconciliations as required.
  • Audit/SOX Controls Assist and help guide Audit data requests as needed.
  • Process Improvement Conduct process reviews periodically to standardize and enhance procedures across the COE (Center of Excellence). Lead the implementation of improvements identified through this process.
  • Develop Relationships Build and maintain collaborative relationships with all units and functional managers across local and remote locations to ensure accurate and timely reporting of plant financial performance.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 2 years relevant experience as Senior Accountant/Senior Analyst
  • Consistently perform tasks with accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Intermediate/Advanced in Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business processes/cost concepts
  • Experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) costing systems. SAP experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues develop solutions and drive improvements
  • Ownership mindset on core responsibilities
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels within the organization
  • Travel required as necessary (minimal)

Pay Range:

$102100.00-$136166.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
