Job Summary
As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell you will take a pivotal role in leading field service activities ensuring timely and effective maintenance repair and installation of equipment at customer sites. You will provide technical guidance to junior technicians and act as a key point of contact for resolving complex technical issues enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor and youll work out of our West Columbia SC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role you will impact the success of our field service operations the satisfaction of our customers and the growth of the organization by overseeing field service activities and ensuring high-quality technical support and service delivery.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with and under the direction of the FSS to lead and coordinate field service activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Troubleshoot repair and maintain Honeywell equipment and systems at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior field service technicians.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve service processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform installation maintenance and repair of Energy Efficiency (EE) measures at customer sites.
- Complete documentation for each premise accurately legibly and timely.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
- Travel and function from a hotel room for this project; be willing to travel to other projects on a temporary basis
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner using proper Personal Protective Equipment as intended
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 3 years or more of experience in field service or technical support roles with a focus on equipment maintenance and repair.
- 3 Years or more experience in the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- 1 year or more of experience leading or mentoring a team of technicians in a field service environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in field operations.
- Willingness and the ability to travel up to 100% of the time regionally.
WE VALUE
- Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field such as electronics mechanical or industrial technology.

- 5 years of experience in field service or technical roles preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
