Lead Electrical Engineer

ONSITE in Berkeley CA

• Electrical architecture and component-level cost optimization for battery or industrial equipment.
• Sensor switch heater pump DC/DC converter power-distribution and harness interface knowledge.
• Ability to assess redundant devices substitute components interface impacts and validation needs.
• Experience reviewing electrical designs and guiding distributed engineering teams.

• Own technical direction and design reviews for the electrical workstream.
• Translate system requirements into electrical architecture component interface and verification requirements.
• Lead lower-cost alternative selection for switches sensors and electrical isolation components.
• Assess impacts to PCBA interfaces controls diagnostics harnesses BOMs and system performance.
• Coordinate with mechanical systems manufacturing supply-chain and validation teams.
• Review nearshore deliverables and ensure release-quality documentation.

• 8 years of electrical or electromechanical product-development experience; battery energy storage industrial equipment or automotive experience preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Mechatronics or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with electrical architecture sensors harness interfaces BOM optimization and design reviews.
• Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor engineers across locations.

Salary Range: $120000-$140000/K

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including but not limited to location the candidates combination of job-related knowledge qualifications skills education training and experience
