Ellsworth Corporation a global industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Lead Distribution Center Specialist opportunity at Ellsworth Adhesives. This role reports into our brand-new Specialty Chemical Distribution (SCD) Division located in Spartanburg SC.

You will coordinate distribution center activities inan SCDbyadhering to all safety guidelines and standards in a team environment. You will executeoperational transactions to support the operationsintheir assigned department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute transactionally to support DC performance
• Primary contactbetween the team and the supervisorfor operational daily needs
• Partner withmanagement toassess and improveon team performance
• Using data tools and metrics to assess and make operational decisions
• Initial assessment of problems working with internal counterparts todeterminenext steps
• Coordinatedepartment levelactivities withthe team and DC leadership
• Train staff on RF Scanner and computer system
• Support process to contribute to the accuracy of the inventory

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years of related industrial experience and/or training
• High school diploma or equivalency (GED HSED)â
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Effective leadership skills
• Proficient written oral communication
• Basicorganizational skills
• Ability towork within complex system and process
• Experience in MS Office programs and Warehouse software (Latitude P21 RF Scanner etc.)
• Agile inidentifyingand makingrecommendations to resolveproblems
• Models and promotes self-directed work team culture
• Proven ability to solve problems with standardized solution
