Are you an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) ready to take the next step in your career Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring a full-time Program Lead in The Dalles to provide hands-on support while helping lead the day-to-day operations of a residential program serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

What Does a Program Lead Do
As a Program Lead youll continue providing direct support while helping ensure the success of the home.

Responsibilities include:
  • Building meaningful person-centered relationships that promote independence dignity and choice
  • Assisting individuals with daily living activities including personal care meal preparation household tasks and hygiene
  • Supporting community outings appointments recreation employment and personal goals
  • Encouraging independence confidence and skill development
  • Administering medications and completing documentation accurately
  • Maintaining a safe clean and welcoming home environment
  • Serving as a mentor and positive role model for Direct Support Professionals
  • Advocating for the choices rights and well-being of the people you support

Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) or in a Direct Support Professional role required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to become an approved company driver
  • Ability to pass a national background check
  • Strong communication leadership problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals with mobility needs
