Lead Detailer

Location: Indianapolis IN Full-Time

Are you an experienced Detail Specialist who takes pride in your work and has the leadership skills to help guide a team Tom Wood Subaru is looking for a motivated hands-on Detail Specialist Lead to join our growing team!

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys detailing vehicles while also helping organize workflow support team members and maintain the high standards our customers expect.

• Perform high-quality detailing services that leave customers impressed every time
• Clean wash wax buff vacuum and sanitize vehicles inside and out
• Inspect vehicles for imperfections damage and areas needing additional attention
• Help coordinate daily workflow and ensure vehicles are completed on schedule
• Support and train newer detail team members on proper processes and expectations
• Monitor quality standards and provide feedback to ensure consistent results
• Maintain inventory of supplies tools and detailing products
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments
• Maintain a clean organized and professional workspace
• Assist with additional responsibilities to keep operations running smoothly

• Previous automotive detailing experience preferred
• Leadership team lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Ability to motivate and support a team while maintaining accountability
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Knowledge of detailing equipment tools and cleaning products
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
