About the role
As Lead Customer Specialist your focus is on delivering a welcoming customer-centered environment that reflects Chicos culture of hospitality. This role operates as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another manager leading the team and elevating the customer experience.

• Initiate authentic conversations with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized service.
• Partner with the team to deliver a customer-centered experience that reflects Chicos culture of hospitality.
• Share your knowledge of Chicos products and services with customers to outfit and inspire them.
• Cultivate long-term customer relationships through proactive outreach about new products promotions and in-store events.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Actively share brand priorities initiatives and messages with store teams.
• Ensure compliance with all policies guidelines and business practices.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork and collaboration.
• Build connections with the local community through events outreach and initiatives that expand Chicos presence.

Youll bring to the role

• Passion for our brand fashion and empowering confidence.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year retail experience preferred.
• Flexible availability including nights weekends holidays.
• Demonstrates an ownership mindset and leads by example.
• Effective leadership people management and communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership style that invests in the process of developing talent.
• Ability to bend reach stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom operate the register and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
