Lead CT Technologist

Job Description:

Baptist Health Imaging where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment. Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography Diagnostic X-Ray Interventional Radiology Magnetic Resonance Imaging Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Imaging and Ultrasound. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art equipment as well as accessibility and providing services throughout the community including surrounding areas. Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. • Proactively plans and executes daily patient flow and staff schedule.

• Assist CT Coordinator with staff selection training and competency.

• Assists Radiologists and management with establishing protocols.

• Produce quality images for Radiologists review.

• Send images to tele-radiology service after hours as requested.

• Maintains and/or develops scanning protocols with CT Coordinator and Radiologist.

• Works with CT Coordinator and Radiologist on ACR accreditation as needed.

• Assists CT Coordinator Radiology Manager and Radiology Director in equipment and software
  selections.

• Manages physical and financial resources within established guidelines. Includes monitoring
  supply inventory assuring equipment properly maintained and proposal for budgeting items
  related to CT.

• Performs and documents peripheral venipuncture when necessary for exams.

Shift: Full Time Days

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology

• Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry

• Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy

• Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within one (1) year of hire

• 3 Years of related experience

• Current BLS Certification
