POSITION SUMMARY:
- Acts as the primary liaison between providers hospitals and credentialing agencies to ensure timely credentialing licensure and regulatory compliance.
- Manages provider credentialing records applications hospital privileges affiliation verifications and ongoing documentation requirements.
- Maintains data and compliance systems including OneApp ECLIPSE SharePoint and OneDrive while tracking licenses DEA renewals COIs and fingerprinting needs.
- Supports operational and quality processes by handling audits case logs FPPE/OPPE evaluations flu compliance and provider onboarding/offboarding activities.
- Coordinates communication and reporting with hospitals and internal teams to ensure providers receive privileges IDs and necessary access in a timely manner.
- 2 years of experience in provider licensing and credentialing within the healthcare industry or Bachelors degree preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and credentialing software; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently research and analyze data and build effective relationships with providers staff and external partners.
- CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) certification through NAMSS preferred.
