What Youll Do as a Lead Commercial Carpenter:

• Read drawings and complete high-quality commercial carpentry work on commercial construction projects including new construction renovations and repairs.
• Work independently while coordinating with Project Managers to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Support site leadership and step into a lead role when the Superintendent is off-site.
• Take ownership of materials site readiness and day-to-day project execution.
• Mentor less-experienced crew members and help maintain consistent craftsmanship across the team.
• Participate in site meetings reviewing progress project timelines and jobsite needs.
• Help ensure project schedules are met while maintaining superior workmanship and quality.
• Travel to commercial job sites throughout Berks County and surrounding areas typically within 60 minutes of Fleetwood.

Our Ideal Lead Commercial Carpenter:

• Experienced: 3 years of commercial carpentry experience required. Able to read and interpret drawings work independently and solve problems in the field. Strong understanding of jobsite safety and OSHA standards required. OSHA 10 certification required or willingness to obtain (company-sponsored).
• Leadership Potential: Takes initiative demonstrates accountability communicates effectively and is eager to develop the skills needed to grow into a lead carpenter role while supporting site leadership and team success.
• Craftsmanship-driven: Takes pride in quality workmanship attention to detail and consistent execution.
• Dependable: Shows up ready to work follows through on commitments and contributes positively to the team.
• Active: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. bend kneel stand for extended periods and work from ladders or scaffolding.
• Provides personal hand tools for daily work.

What We Offer Our Lead Commercial Carpenter:

• Full-time position 40-45 hours per week with a 6:00 or 7:00 AM start time
• $25-$33 per hour depending on experience.
