Job Summary
Sayres is seeking an experienced Lead Combat Systems SME in San Diego CA with a SECRET clearance verifiable in DISS.
Position Summary
The Lead Combat Systems SME provides expert assessments of Navy combat systems readiness maintenance programs and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct combat systems readiness assessments.
- Evaluate maintenance execution and material condition.
- Review AEGIS SSDS and related combat system operations.
- Advise ship leadership on readiness risks and corrective actions.
- Develop technical reports and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years supervisory experience.
- Extensive experience as STO CSMM CSOOW or equivalent.
- Experience supporting AEGIS and/or SSDS combat systems.
- Maintenance/training staff experience (TYCOM ISIC ATG or equivalent).
- Thorough knowledge of Navy combat systems maintenance processes.
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- 25 years highly desirable.
Occasional travel may be required. Support is primarily based in San Diego CA with occasional travel to Navy fleet concentration areas including Everett WA; Pearl Harbor HI; Sasebo Japan; Yokosuka Japan; and Singapore as well as other customer locations as required.
Salary Range: $90000$140000 commensurate with experience. Compensation will be determined based on experience qualifications and market considerations.
