Job Summary:
The Lead Child Care Attendant is responsible for the effective daily operations of the childcare center ensuring a safe nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 6 months to four years. This role serves as the primary point of contact for families overseeing the check-in and reservation process managing the front desk and supporting administrative addition to providing direct care this role leads and supports the childcare team maintains regulatory compliance and ensures a high standard of service and safety throughout the facility.
Job Specifications:
Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $24.69/hr
Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026
Shift Type: Full Time hours available
Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care for children ages six months to four years attending to their personal needs including feeding diapering and rest time
Create and maintain a clean safe and engaging environment that complies with all health safety and licensing regulations
Provide leadership guidance and support to childcare team members to ensure consistent care and service standards
Communicate effectively and professionally with parents guardians and coworkers regarding childrens routines progress and needs
Develop and facilitate age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts story time indoor/outdoor play and group games
Maintain accurate attendance and booking records and support administrative functions as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success and smooth operation of the childcare center
Job Requirements:
18 years of age or older required
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 years of experience working with children required
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently throughout the day the position requires lifting and carrying children while playing or in the Day Care
The expected pay range is$22.00/hr - $24.69/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
