Job Summary
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm Weekend & Holiday Rotations required

What Youll Do:
As a Lead Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in our Day Center youll lead the CNA team and play a vital role in ensuring our participants receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily living activities to training new hires youll bring confident leadership to Thome PACE.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Hands-On Care Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing grooming dressing and toileting.
- Lead with Confidence - Mentor train and support CNAs by overseeing onboarding scheduling and professional development to ensure quality participant care and adherence to PACE values and policies.
- Support Mealtime Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
- Keep Things Moving Support mobility including turning positioning and safe transfers.
- Perform Vital Checks Measure and record vital signs weight and intake/output.
- Maintain Comfort & Care Keep rooms tidy cozy and well-stocked with essentials.
- Provide Responsive Support Respond with kindness and compassion.
- Monitor with Watchful Eyes Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
- Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
On-Call and Flexibility:
- On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in after-hour on-call rotations including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Rotation Schedule: Be available for evening and weekend shifts as part of the rotation.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- A current and valid Michigan CNA Certification required.
- CPR Certified or willing to obtain.
- Two (2) years of clinical experience as a licensed CNA.
- The ability to read write understand and follow directions.
- A heart for helping others and the physical ability to lift stand bend transfer stretch walk push and pull as needed.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds frequently is required
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
