Lead Carpenter

Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for aLead Carpenterposition. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

This class is the lead and advanced journey level in the Carpenter series. Incumbents in this class are responsible for providing technical assistance and training to and guiding checking assigning and correcting the work of a group of addition incumbents perform the most difficult complex and/or sensitive assignments related to the carpentry trade.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Six (6) years of full-time paid experience as a carpenter. Including two (2) years at the journey level and two (2) years in a commercial and/or industrial environment.

Note: The experience at the journey level and in a commercial and/or industrial environment may have occurred concurrently.Successful completion of a four-year state accredited carpenter apprenticeship program may substitute for four (4) years of the non-journey level experience. A General Building Contractor license will be accepted as a substitute for the minimum qualifications stated above.
