This job description outlines the objective primary responsibilities and/or requirements and qualifications of the Lead Caregiver within concierge services communities in Cheyenne area.
Objective: To manage maintain and oversee concierge community clients and caregivers. This is an hourly position.
Reports to: HR/Caregiver Manager
Primary Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Manage building schedules including correct time allotment for client strategic evaluation of days and activities to maintain the correct schedule for team handle time off requests and assist in staffing call outs
- Provide hands-on care to clients in an independent living community setting including housekeeping laundry escort services medication reminders companionship personal care (bathing/showering/dressing/grooming) and any other activities within the scope of non-medical home care
- Perform client assessments and ensure recommendation of appropriate services and completion of all required Senior Helpers documentation
- Assist and collaborate HR/Caregiver Manager with tracking and recording individual team member documentation of contributions and weaknesses for completion of 90-day or annual reviews
- Hold weekly team meetings to ensure team is collaborating and on same page with clients schedules and building needs
- Lead communication with team on all client task changes updates to care plans (also reported to office) and correct process and procedures for daily documentation
- Keep in constant contact and communication during shifts using TigerConnect team group to keep team members informed and answer incoming questions and/or concerns
- Available for after-hours emergency situations at least to the point of answering a call to mobile phone high priority TigerConnect messages or a direct text message from office team
- Provide constructive criticism for team members if they need mentorship around task completion timeliness length of visits or any other work-related concerns or issues
- Refer any HR concerns to the HR/Caregiver Manager immediately
- Communicate with office at any time there is a new client care plan update additional services being provided to an existing client and any other changes to care or concerns about clients/families etc.
- Maintain the highest professional standard for representing Senior Helpers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years in direct patient caregiving
- Requires full-time M-F availability and weekends as needed to cover the building with advance notice
- Professional experience in the field of customer service
- Knowledge of general healthcare staffing requirements
- Team player excellent verbal and communication skills adaptable in different situations possesses excellent client interaction skills able to multi-task and work independently
- Must have experience maintaining professionalism and patience with a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities are a requirement schedule caregiver and client conflicts are bound to arise that will require creative solution
