The Difference You Will Make
The Lead Barista supports daily operations within Morning Ritual by preparing highquality beverages ensuring consistent service standards and guiding barista team members. This role assists with training product quality control workflow coordination and maintaining a clean organized and welcoming environment for guests.
What Youll Bring:
Provide warm friendly and efficient service to all guests.
Answer questions about the menu coffee origins brewing methods and specialty drinks.
Resolve minor guest concerns and communicate larger issues to management.
Prepare beverages consistently and to recipe standards.
Maintain a high level of coffee knowledge including grind settings extraction milk texturing and seasonal offerings.
Ensure drinks meet presentation and quality standards before serving.
Maintain inventory levels for coffee syrups milk and bar supplies.
Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
Clean espresso machines grinders and other equipment daily.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. At least one (1) year of related café and customer experience required.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to work with long periods of standing and walking throughout the café service addition employees will walk; handle food and beverage objects reach and extend with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasional climbing balancing stooping crouching and crawling; specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision and the ability to focus.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee is exposed to a food and drink preparation environment including heat and steam and café machinery.
Location and Travel: Position will be based in Nashville TN Brier Creek NC Pflugerville TX or Columbus OH with occasional travel to local stores.
