L&D Registered Nurse

Labor and Delivery RN needed in Ottumwa IA

Location: Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center

Pay Rate: $35-$41/hr

Bonus Description: $15000 - two year commitment

Schedule: 12 hour shifts

Job Duties Include: The Registered Nurse works under the supervision of the Director and is responsible for providing nursing care for assigned patients. S/He performs assigned procedures that are within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Preferred Experience: Prefer prior experience in Maternal Child Nursing or Medical/Surgical nursing but not required.

Required Licenses:

- Current Iowa Registered Nurse License or compact state nursing license giving the ability to practice In Iowa.

- Current BCLS certification

- Certification in NRP required within 12 months (offered through ORHC)

- Course in basic fetal monitoring required within 12 months
