Elementary Special Education Teacher (LBS1) Full-Time Illinois
Two Openings Available Join a Team That Makes Every Day Count
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is working with an Illinois elementary school to fill two full-time Special Education Teacher positions for the upcoming school year. Were looking for compassionate educators who are committed to helping students with diverse learning needs reach meaningful milestones in both the classroom and beyond.
Available placements include:
- Self-Contained Classroom 1st & 2nd Grade
- Self-Contained Classroom 3rd through 5th Grade
These classrooms primarily serve students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) making this an excellent opportunity for educators who have experience supporting students with autism and enjoy creating structured engaging learning environments that promote growth and independence.
What Youll Do:
As a Special Education Teacher youll design and deliver individualized instruction that meets each students unique academic behavioral communication and functional needs. Youll develop and implement IEPs monitor student progress adapt instructional strategies and maintain accurate educational documentation. Collaboration is a key part of this role as youll partner with paraprofessionals related service providers general education staff and families to ensure students receive comprehensive support throughout the school day.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement. Previous experience working with elementary students in self-contained special education classrooms is preferred particularly with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
