Lawn Care Technician

TruScape is a growing landscaping and grounds care company serving Western Pennsylvania. We take pride in delivering quality results for every property we touch and were looking for Lawn Care Technicians to join our team for the season and beyond.

As a Lawn Care Technician youll be responsible for maintaining a variety of commercial and residential properties to a high standard. Day to day that means operating zero-turn mowers push mowers string trimmers and blowers across a diverse mix of properties including HOA communities apartment complexes industrial sites and residential lawns. Youll work alongside your crew to complete routes efficiently while keeping quality consistent from the first property to the last.

During the off season youll transition into snow and ice management operations helping keep our commercial and residential properties safe and accessible through the winter months.

We dont expect you to show up on day one knowing everything. We have a comprehensive training program that will teach you proper mowing techniques safe equipment operation trimming and edging standards and everything else you need to succeed in this role. What we cant teach is attitude and thats what matters most to us. If you show up ready to work and ready to learn well take care of the rest.

This isnt a crew where youre just a number. We run a tight supportive team where people look out for each other and take pride in the work. Your crew lead is there to help you grow not just hand out tasks. We keep communication open we respect your time and we want you to actually enjoy coming to work.

For the right person this is more than a seasonal gig. We actively develop our people from within. Lawn Care Technicians who show initiative and leadership have a clear path to move into Crew Leader Operations Manager and even Sales roles as the company grows. Your ceiling here is up to you.

We keep it simple. If you have a valid drivers license a positive attitude and a strong work ethic youre already the kind of person we want on this team. A pre-employment drug screening is part of the process but beyond that we care a lot more about who you are than whats on your resume. Wed rather invest in someone whos reliable and eager to learn than someone with ten years of experience and a bad attitude. If that sounds like a fit we want to hear from you.

We run a 4x10 schedule which means most Fridays are yours. Three-day weekends arent a perk here theyre the norm. Youll work with well-maintained equipment so you can focus on the job instead of fighting your tools and youll be part of a crew that actually enjoys showing up every day.

As TruScape grows so do the opportunities. We promote from within and actively develop our people into leadership roles. This isnt a dead-end gig.

We dont currently offer healthcare or retirement benefits but were open to building those out as our team grows. If it matters to our people it matters to us.
