Job Title: WashpersonJob Department: LaundryJob Pay Rate: $16.50 / hour Job Summary:As a Laundry Washperson you will be responsible for operating industrial washing equipment to clean and maintain high-end guest linens towels and staff uniforms while meeting strict quality standards. Other duties may be assigned:Operate machinery such as washers dryers chain hoists loading/unloading conveyors and products transportation items by fabric type color degree of soiling and proper washing temperature. And make sure items are free of trash and another foreign objects before loading the and unload commercial washing machines and extractors according to weight and capacity loads into washing machines to ensure desired production goals efficiency and smooth flow through finishing wash and dry as directed by the supervisors to accomplish the desired production and apply commercial detergents softeners and bleaching agents safely and washed items for stains damage or remaining spots and re-wash items that do not meet wet laundry safely to dryers or finishing equipment without dropping or soiling the items to the different working stations for lint traps wipe down machine exteriors and report mechanical issues required protective gear such as gloves and aprons when handling chemicals or wet complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines operational procedures safety policies and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoors history estate grounds wilderness properties culinary offerings and retail additional duties and responsibilities as required.
