Job Summary

Essential Functions

  • Switch linen racks daily and ensure supplies are fully stocked.
  • Responsible for cleaning drinking glasses for guest rooms.
  • Stock housekeeping carts with supplies.
  • Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants and deliver supplies directly to room attendants.
  • Anticipate guests needs respondpromptlyand acknowledge allguestsservice requests.
  • Monitor andmaintaincleanlinesssanitationand organization of assigned work areas including guestroom floors hallways and public areas stairwells linen closets vending areas and foyers.
  • Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
  • Transport cart with cleaning supplies amenities and linens to assigned guest room and room attendants securely andin a timely manner.
  • Remove all trash dustdebrisand foreign particles.
  • Complete reoccurring projects including shampoo vacuum floors pickup trash.
  • Ensure all guestroom hallways are clean and clearoftrashdebrisor items.
  • Refurnishes housekeeping with suppliestowelsetc. asrequiredin designated areas.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Turn over any lost and found items from guest rooms to the Supervisor.
  • Follow 4 Keys service standards standard operation procedures and safety standards.
  • Follow safety and security procedures.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
  • Follow allappropriate policiesand procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations.
  • Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
  • Follow alladditionalduties asassigned by management.

Skills and Abilities

  • Understand the mission vision and goals of the hotel.
  • Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task efficiently.
  • Must be able to speak and understand and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Mustpossessexcellent communicationfollow-up and organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to pushpullbendsquatand lift on a regular basis up to 50 pounds.
  • Safety requirements of PPE as needed for duty assigned and withuseof required tools and equipment.
  • Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detailspeedand accuracy; prioritize organize and follow-up.
  • Be a clear thinkerremainingcalm and resolving problems using good judgment.
  • Follow directions thoroughly; understand a guests service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Satisfactorily communicate with guestsmanagementand co-workers to their understanding.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

Education:High School diploma or GED equivalencepreferred

Experience:Minimum 3 months housekeeping or relevant experience

Additional:Will berequiredto work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs

Pay:The rate of pay for this position is $20.00/hr.

The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to hear understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend and twist push and pull stoop and kneel
