Job Summary
We are looking for a Laser Cut Operator to join our Greenwood IN location on a 1st shift schedule. You will set up and operate a Laser Machine to cut sheet metal parts in accordance with blueprint specifications and work instructions. What Youll Do:Read and interpret blueprints and work operations sheets to determine appropriate operations to be performedUse inspection gauges such as calipers (both dial and Vernier) micrometers squares and height gauges to perform quality checksMaintain and ensure accurate counts on completed parts and scrapped partsMaintain tools measuring instruments and equipment in a clean and orderly mannerPerform set-up for prototype parts and form according to blueprints and guidelinesWhat Youll Need:High School diploma or equivalent2 years of related experience and/or trainingAbility to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram formMathematical skills to manage units of measure fractions decimals whole numbersAbility to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets to determine set-up and operations to be formedAbility to walk and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
