Landscape Maintenance Foreman

This is a full-time seasonal position in Glenview IL. We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Landscape Maintenance Foreman to join our team. You will perform a variety of physical duties to create and maintain beautiful healthy outdoor environments for our residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate is a team player who is reliable physically fit and has experience overseeing a crew.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $20 - $25/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of landscape and green roof maintenance production including:
  • Quality control
  • Jobsite safety
• Daily time sheet entry for crew
• Train Landscape Maintenance Laborers on:
  • Proper use of equipment
  • Jobsite conduct
• Oversee special projects for clients
• Perform quality control checks after work is completed by crews
  
  

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of landscaping experience
• 2 years of foreman experience

Skills & Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand kneel bend and lift/move up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various Chicago-area weather conditions (heat cold rain).
• Knowledge of landscape equipment including tractors mowers leaf blowers and aerators
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including plants and plant care
• Communicate effectively; Bilingual Spanish & English is a plus
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite is required.
