Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 4:30 PM

We are currently seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for a Landfill Laborer position in Carson City. This is an outdoor physically active role supporting landfill operations and maintaining cleanliness throughout the site.

• Pick up windblown trash on roads hills and surrounding landfill areas
• Bag litter and load debris cardboard and trash into pickup trucks
• Assist with general landfill cleanup and maintenance
• Move heavy items such as refrigerators and other debris
• Perform snow shoveling and equipment cleaning as needed
• Complete basic records and timesheets
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with the public and staff
• Support additional landfill operations as assigned

• Ability to walk for extended periods on uneven terrain
• Lift and carry up to 60 pounds
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Exposure to dust fumes hazardous chemicals and environmental conditions

• Ankle-supporting boots required
• No shorts permitted
