Land Survey Utility Coordinator Primary Responsibilities:

• Request underground utility markings
• Coordinate marking authorities responses including quality check of plans and onsite verification.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to add utility locations to scale on land surveys and plans
• Operate raSmith equipment to mark private utilities and field data collection locations with GPS.
• Quality check surveys and plans for utility accuracies
• Provide occasional assistance on Survey field crews
• Other duties as assigned.

Land Survey Utility Coordinator Skills and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; with a preference for an Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from a U.S. accredited college or university
• At least 1 year of experience in utility locating surveying or related fieldwork
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings engineering plans and specifications
• Understanding of utility systems including water sewer gas electric and telecommunications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook) and familiarity with GIS CAD or other mapping/design tools is a plus
• Applicable U.S. based work experience
