Land Development Senior Civil Engineer

Were growing our Land Development team in Northwest Arkansas and looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to help lead our projects and the people working on them.

This role is for an engineer who loves the work: solving site challenges getting the details right and seeing a project go from concept to built. Youll have real ownership of your projects and a hand in developing the engineers around you. If youre thinking about team leadership down the road theres a path here for that too.

What Youll Be Doing:
Youll lead land development projects from early planning through construction working directly with clients municipalities and our internal teams. Along the way youll:

• Lead site design for commercial residential and mixed-use developments including grading drainage utilities and stormwater

• Own construction documents from first sketch to final set

• Guide projects through permitting and municipal approvals

• Support projects during construction and solve issues as they come up in the field

• Mentor and review the work of engineers earlier in their careers

• Build relationships with clients who come back to work with us again

What Were Looking For:

• 6 years of land development or site civil experience

• PE license (or the ability to obtain one in Kansas or Missouri within X months)

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited program

• Strong working knowledge of site design grading drainage and utility design

• Experience taking projects through municipal review and permitting in the Kansas City area

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
