Avid Core is seeking a Land Acquisition & Landowner Engagement Administrative Specialist to support federal land acquisition and infrastructure programs. This role will coordinate landowner outreach maintain accurate property and acquisition records track project activities and prepare reports and briefing materials that help project teams and executive leaders understand progress spending risks and next steps.

Salary Range: $50000-$65000 based on experience and qualifications.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Support federal land property acquisition and infrastructure programs by collecting organizing validating tracking and analyzing real estate landowner outreach and project data.
- Support the planning and execution of large infrastructure and land acquisition projects including landowner outreach property research acquisition tracking reporting and project coordination.
- Develop coordinate and distribute landowner communications correspondence mailings outreach materials briefing materials and other project communications.
- Manage and track landowner outreach and engagement activities including communications responses points of contact follow-up actions and key project milestones.
- Compare landowner and property information contained in project files title records databases deeds correspondence public records and other source documents with information provided by individuals claiming ownership or an interest in a property.
- Identify and document discrepancies duplicate records missing documentation conflicting ownership claims incomplete contact information and other data-quality issues that may affect outreach or acquisition activities.
- Coordinate with project managers real estate specialists legal staff title professionals communications staff and other subject matter experts to support the resolution of landowner ownership outreach and acquisition issues.
- Maintain accurate property parcel landowner acquisition-status outreach-status contact and project information across project tracking systems communication logs databases and reporting tools.
- Ensure project data communications responses supporting documentation and status updates are entered accurately and consistently into applicable tracking systems.
- Track property acquisition and landowner engagement activities from initial research and outreach through negotiation settlement condemnation or other final disposition.
- Develop and maintain landowner outreach and acquisition schedules for multiple infrastructure projects including key milestones deadlines meetings correspondence dates discussions and follow-up activities.
- Maintain project action-item trackers monitor outstanding tasks coordinate follow-up and support the timely closure of action items.
- Maintain organized and complete project documentation files landowner records communication histories points of contact and records of key activities.
- Prepare weekly monthly and ad hoc reports summarizing outreach activities acquisition progress project performance spending risks outstanding actions and overall program status for project managers and executive leadership.
- Create clear summaries presentations briefing materials talking points agendas tables charts and other visual products that translate complex real estate and project data into actionable information for technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Attend and support project meetings by preparing agendas and talking points documenting decisions and action items tracking follow-up activities and providing data-driven updates on project progress and unresolved issues.
- Perform quality-control reviews of project data outreach records and supporting documentation to ensure completeness consistency accuracy and traceability.
- Establish maintain and improve standardized data definitions tracking procedures reporting processes outreach documentation practices and quality-control standards.
- Review existing project processes and identify potential problems data gaps workflow inefficiencies or project risks; recommend and support corrective actions and process improvements before issues affect project delivery.
- Support the development and refinement of procedures tools trackers templates and workflows that improve landowner outreach acquisition management reporting and overall program performance.
- Protect sensitive personally identifiable information property-related records landowner communications and other sensitive project information in accordance with federal client and company requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 24 years of experience in data analysis real estate transactions land acquisition title research due diligence public outreach communications project coordination program analysis or a related field is preferred.
- Experience supporting federal state or local government programs or large infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Experience comparing information across multiple records databases documents and source systems and identifying resolving or documenting discrepancies.
- Experience managing project data trackers communication logs contact records schedules or similar information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience drafting landowner correspondence outreach materials reports summaries meeting materials and executive-level communications.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel including data validation lookup functions pivot tables data reconciliation and analysis of large datasets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Teams.
- Ability to prepare accurate and concise reports and executive-level summaries related to project progress spending risks performance outreach and acquisition status.
- Familiarity with real estate transactions deeds title documents public records parcel data eminent domain federal land acquisition processes or property ownership research is preferred.
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) parcel mapping or geospatial data is preferred.
- Experience supporting infrastructure real estate land acquisition landowner engagement or property-related projects is preferred.
- Strong organizational analytical problem-solving and research skills.
- Ability to investigate conflicting information identify patterns and potential risks and clearly document conclusions assumptions and unresolved questions.
- Ability to manage multiple properties stakeholders tasks deadlines communications and reporting requirements simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to appropriately handle sensitive personally identifiable information and property-related records.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Education:

Location:
The position is based in Washington D.C. Candidates may be expected to work a in-person with time both on-site and opportunities for remote work based on client needs.
