POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead of Lactation Services acts as a resource across the organization for all functions associated with Lactation and leads clinical programs and day-to-day operations of Lactation Services. Collaborates with otherdepartments and services. Demonstrates commitment to evidenced-based practice through leadership data-driveninterventions and quality improvement to enhance services and outcomes.

Work Location: St. Petersburg FL
Work Hours: 40hours per week Rotating Shift

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Recognized Health Professional (Nurse Dietitian Speech Therapist)

  • Certification as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) through the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners

  • Lactation Consultant Examiners

  • One year experience as a Lactation Consultant preferably at Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital

Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital is recognized as a Magnet(R) designated hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) the largest and most prominent nurses credentialing organization in the world.

Salary Range: Minimum 40.78/hour - Maximum 65.24/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
