Your Role

As a Laborer youll support the successful completion of construction projects by assisting with site preparation material handling jobsite safety and general construction activities.

What Youll Do

• Maintain a clean organized and safe jobsite.
• Clean and maintain tools equipment materials and work areas.
• Load unload move and stage materials tools and equipment.
• Assist with setting up and dismantling ladders scaffolding and other temporary structures.
• Lift carry and position construction materials and supplies as directed.
• Assist with traffic control and other site logistics as needed.
• Support skilled trades and project teams with general labor tasks.
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.

ExperienceEducation & Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current member of the Laborers Union.
• OSHA 10 certification
• Basic understanding of construction practices safety procedures and quality standards.
• Experience working around heavy equipment and performing grade checking is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage daily work assignments.

Work Location Environment & Travel Requirements

• Work is performed primarily on active construction jobsites in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand walk bend kneel crouch crawl and climb for extended periods.
• Safely climb ladders scaffolding and other elevated work lift carry push and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Safely use hand tools power tools and other construction equipment.
• Must have sufficient vision and hearing to safely perform essential job duties.
