Job Summary:
As a Laborer you will support construction crews by performing manual labor tasks and assisting with underground utility and telecommunications construction activities. You will help maintain job site safety prepare materials assist equipment operators and ensure projects are completed this role your customers are Congruex field construction teams and clients and you will contribute to company success through safe operations teamwork and quality project support.

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
Attend and participate in daily jobsite safety meetings and huddles
Operate tamping machines and assist with inspection and maintenance of equipment
Assist with loading unloading and organizing jobsite materials and tools
Support trench excavation conduit placement potholing shoring and backfilling procedures
Assist with setting structures pouring concrete and asphalt preparation/placement
Maintain clean and organized job sites and ensure compliance with customer requirements
Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications:

Education Licensing and Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license required
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and MVR

Experience
Basic knowledge of construction industry preferred; training provided
Experience in underground utility or telecommunications construction is a plus

Skills and Abilities
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a crew environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of safety procedures and policies
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Reliable transportation to various jobsites

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in underground utility construction
CDL drivers license
Experience operating small equipment and hand tools

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
Work performed outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to stand bend kneel squat and perform repetitive physical tasks
Must have adequate vision or use corrective lenses for safe work performance
