Waste Connectionsis hiring for aTruck Washer / Yard Laborerat our facility inOlive Branch MS!

As aTruck Washer / Yard Laborer your primary responsibilities will include:

• Washing and cleaning trucks trailers containers and other company equipment to maintain a professional appearance.
• Operating pressure washers cleaning tools and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspecting vehicles for cleanliness and reporting any visible damage or maintenance concerns to management.
• Maintaining a clean organized and safe wash bay and yard area.
• Assisting with general yard duties including litter pickup sweeping and housekeeping.
• Moving and staging vehicles within the yard as directed and in accordance with safety procedures.
• Supporting basic preventative maintenance efforts by checking fluid levels and reporting equipment issues.
• Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

What We Need From You:

• One year of stable employment history in a labor maintenance or similar outdoor work environment preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift bend stoop and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to read understand follow and enforce safety procedures.
• Dependable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid drivers license preferred.
