May move office and factory furniture and equipment as required.
- May move office and factory furniture and equipment as required.
- May load unload and drive vehicle for the maintenance department on either company property or public highways and make a report of any accident.
- As may be required in performance of Laborers job duties may perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) on applicable equipment and energy sources.
- Cleans coolant pits machine chip pits ducts fans blowers and eliminators.
- Cleans and disinfects office space production areas machining areas and machines as directed by Management.
- Performs minor dismantling of equipment to facilitate cleaning.
- Cleans overhead pipes ducts light fixtures light shades and machines using when necessary ladders cherry pickers telescoping platforms and crows nests.
- May apply sealer to cement.
- May be required to remove snow spread salt and/or sand on walks and driveways.
- Capable of wearing and using all safety equipment applicable to tasks when needed.
- Performs minor maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment limited to simple replacement of worn out parts.
- May empty trash baskets and trash containers vacuums carpet washes windows mops strips seals and waxes floors.
- May be called to clean scrub sanitize and power wash restrooms and service with necessary supplies.
- May be called to clean and service plant cafeteria(s).
- In accordance with General Process Instructions maintains Production Clean Rooms only.
- May be called to support crafts in performance of preventive maintenance activities.
- May operate walk stacker walk behind sweepers and walk behind scrubbers in performance of assigned duties.
- Uses all necessary tools and equipment including but not limited to brooms mops vacuum cleaners window cleaning equipment washing machines dryers buffers ladders etc.
- May use chore boy scooter and bicycle to expedite duties.
- US Citizenship able to obtain and maintain US DOE Q level security clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work any shift
- Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds
- Ability to wear respirator and associated PPE to include but not limited to: gloves (latex) Tyvek suits hearing protection
- Experience in cleaning production and manufacturing equipment
- Willingness to work in a team environment understand business needs and being flexible
