Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have experience working in a laboratory and practicing aseptic techniques and universal precautions. They will also be skilled in general laboratory practices preparation of solutions and basic instrumentation. The candidate should have a basic understanding of microbiology.

The candidate should be able to perform and summarize laboratory experiments with minimal supervision. They will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

Required Education and Experience:

A minimum of a Bachelors degree in microbiology or a related field with laboratory experience is required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility will be to support the development of diagnostic products for use in the diagnosis of bacterial and fungal a team environment they will be responsible for executing experiments testing instrumentation and maintaining technical data. This will be primarily in the areas of detection isolation identification and susceptibility testing of microorganisms. They will be required to communicate information and ideas clearly and effectively with a multidisciplinary group.
