Job Summary
Lab Technician -La Porte TX
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (6AM6PM / 6PM6AM) 4 days per week (48 hours)
Job Overview
LK Jordan is seeking a Lab Technician to support daily laboratory operations in a production environment. This role involves testing materials maintaining lab equipment and ensuring accurate documentation to support quality and production processes.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate monitor and maintain lab equipment and instruments
- Test and qualify raw materials prior to production
- Perform testing on finished products including rework and returned materials
- Maintain accurate and organized records including finished product analysis
- Assist with research and development projects as needed
- Order chemicals and supplies to support lab operations
- Support Safety & Environmental monitoring and sampling efforts
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a laboratory environment
- Strong communication skills and leadership qualities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Must be open to working both day and night shifts
