Position Summary

In compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and all applicable regulatory standards the Laboratory Technician performs interprets troubleshoots and documents laboratory procedures in a production environment. Responsibilities include a wide variety of analytical testing activities utilizing both manual and automated methods and procedures to support manufacturing operations and product quality.

This position provides day-to-day maintenance of bacterial clones reagents laboratory equipment and the laboratory environment to ensure uninterrupted production support and compliance with quality standards. The role also supports documentation activities equipment maintenance process monitoring and other laboratory-related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures analytical testing and production support activities in accordance with SOPs cGMP requirements and regulatory guidelines.

• Interpret test results and troubleshoot routine laboratory and process-related issues.

• Conductprocedures using manual and automated laboratory methods and equipment.

• Maintain bacterial clones and associated biological materials for manufacturing operations.

• Prepare maintain and manage laboratory reagents and consumables.

• Perform routine maintenance calibration and verification of laboratory and production equipment.

• Ensure laboratory workspaces equipment and materials are maintained in a clean organized and compliant state.

• Accurately document test results procedures observations and production data in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with the preparation of reports summaries protocols and technical documentation as .

• Identify and communicate equipment process or quality issues to supervisors and team members.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.

• Collaborate with manufacturing qualityand other cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree

• 1-3 years of related experience preferred

• Experience with pipets and DNA is preferred

• Coursework in biotechnology microbiology biology chemistry laboratory sciences manufacturing or related fields is preferred.

• Laboratory manufacturing biotechnology or regulated industry experience is a plus.
