Sentara Health is hiring a laboratory support technician to work full time days in the Clinical Lab at Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton VA. (Monday-Friday; 0800-1630)

Overview:

As a laboratory support technician (LST) duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff Perform instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures

• Bachelors Degree in chemical physical or biological science or medical technology (required)

• No certification or licensure required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.96 - $29.25 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs.
