Responsible for applying new software applications in laboratory information systems and maintaining software applications to meet established lab needs.Job Description
Essential Functions:
Apply new software applications for laboratory information systems
Maintain LIS database accuracy and integrity
Provide LIS support for lab staff to maximize operating efficiency of the lab
Design and develop new applications for laboratory computer systems
Interacts with coworkers visitors and other staff consistent with the core values of the hospital
Educational/Training Requirements: Minimum high school diploma. Formal technical training and/or college preferred.
Experience Requirements: Three years experience in a laboratory information system environment. Must be able to show experience in diagnosing and correcting computer software malfunctions and ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely fashion. Must be able to train coworkers.
