Laboratory Medical Lab Scientist

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialties in Medical/Surgical ICU ER Psychiatric Labor & Delivery PACU and Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care case management and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age frailty and serious illness. Daily responsibilities include patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. A minimum of two years of experience is required.

• Provide skilled nursing care and case management to patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Communicate clearly with patients families and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Provide hospice care to patients with serious illness as needed.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum of two years experience in hospital home health or hospice care.
• Proficiency in clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning.
• Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Drivers license car insurance and automobile for field work.

• Experience in Blood Bank procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work independently on night shifts after training and competency.

• On-call availability as needed.
• Must be able to work weekends on a rotating basis after full competency.
• Night shift availability requested if able to work alone following training.
• Flexibility to float between units due to staffing shortages.
• Work environment includes short term acute care and Level IV trauma center.

• Shifts include mid shifts evenings and rotating weekends.
• No block schedules required.
• 48-hour shifts are not approved.
