Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Analyst

Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Analyst. The LIS Analyst supports and maintains the Clinical Laboratories information systems including Epic Beaker interfaced lab systems middleware and in-house applications. This role helps ensure accurate test builds reliable instrument interfaces regulatory compliance and smooth workflow integration across clinical pathology anatomic pathology and phlebotomy. This position works closely with laboratory staff leadership and IT teams to troubleshoot issues support upgrades and implementations optimize workflows and provide end user support and training.

Key responsibilities include:
Supporting LIS applications interfaces and instrument connectivity
Managing test builds LOINC mapping CPT billing setup and result files
Troubleshooting complex system and interface issues
Participating in upgrades validations and integration projects
Supporting reporting workflow improvements and billing resolution
Providing training and consultation to end users

Location: Padden Commerce Park (12019 NE 99th Street Vancouver WA 98662)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4pm with a rotating call schedule for week nights and weekends.

Hiring Range: $90000 to $115000 annually with placement within the range based on relevant experience.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree required. Professional certification MT (ASCP) MLS (ASCP) or equivalent required.

• EPIC BEAKER certification required.

• Bridges Interface certified preferred.

• Two years of experience in the following areas: Laboratory Information System and Middle Ware administration (Beaker Data Innovations) required.

• Knowledge of Laboratory Operations including instrument interfacing and lab billing required.

• Degree in Computer Science related field preferred.
